Projects

Listen to the Banana!!

1. Video Project

If you've gotten permission from your parents, you can appear in your groups Fairtrade Video Project!

  • Start by writing a short script of what you will say in the video.
  • Choose what shots you are going to film.
  • Keep it short and to the point!
You might use this website to help you make a 'storyboard'.
The username is 'SixthClass' and the password is 'fairtrade'.

Check out these examples:

Don't forget, you can make animations or claymations too.
Claymations require you to take many pictures and slowly move your clay characters. You might want to talk to Mr. Molloy before deciding to do one!

Up for the challenge? Then grab a camera and go!

2. Create Fairtrade 'Glogs'

Why not get artistic and use Glogster to create cool interactive posters? Your group could begin an online poster campaign and spread the word around the school and community!
Go on, give it a go!

Have a look at what you can do:

3. Presentation

You can use powerpoint to create a super presentation for your classmates. They're easy to make and really effective, but here are some other cool tools to help you put on a real show!

Want to add some graphs? Click on the graph below to find an easy-to-use graph maker:

Why not make an interactive pop-up book on zooburst.com? The website goes through the process step by step for you.
Here's one on the zoo:

4. Audio Project

You can use Audacity to record a podcast where you talk about why Fair Trade is important or to record an interview with someone you know! Make sure your podcast is scripted and your interview has some well planned questions. Here's a recording I made on Audacity earlier:

If you think you're able, you might try and compose a poem or song about Fair Trade. Make sure you get the best recording possible!

Here are some children singing a Fair Trade Song:
